C&R renewal time

Every once in a while someone inquires as to how long it takes to get their license renewed. Here's my recent experience:

Renewal forms received Aug. 4.
Forms, fee, and notice to LEO mailed Aug. 5.
Check for renewal fee paid by my bank Aug. 13.
Old C&R expired Oct. 1.
New C&R arrived Oct. 8.

    Thanks for the info Bob. Mine will be up for renewal early next year.

    Typical of the government, it took almost 2 months from when they cashed your check to when you got your new license.

    Mine expires today. Sent the renewal form 2 1/2 months ago. Par for the course. It took me 5 months to get a change of address.
