My impossible mission (project update)

Well, remember I told you I had started this twice before and it was cancelled and changed and started again?

My boss called me yesterday and guess what - CANCELLED, now I have a new project due in a few days. This one I can do no problem.

Seems the impossible one has been postponed for now and will probably change again.

This is driving me nuts, if it didnt pay so well I swear I would quit and go to work for Wal-Mart of somthing.

JuJu (oh well)

Maybe you should go ahead and do the project anyway,
and be prepared for the next time it's "uncancelled". [:D]

ODT siad it right, now that it is cancelled go ahead and finsih it because it seems they have a habit of changing their minds. Next time you will be ready for them.

Politicians are like diapers, every so often you need to change them, for obvious reasons.

Wouldn't this be like having a root canal before you knew which tooth was abscessed?

    Maybe for you DWS...
I'd take pride and satisfaction in it by handing it to the boss!
If one of my employees did that, I'd think better of them.

UNLESS, it could be considered a waste of (company) time. [;)]

Besides, odds are he'll be asked to do it again next week. [:D]

ODT: Hand him...what? If specs keep changing, how do you know what to code? The same way you guess which tooth?

Outdoor Texas, DWS is correct. I would love to finish this ( I almost was, I think[?]) but the past two times I started it and it got cancelled the specs changed as well as the ultimate goal of the project each time it came to the forefront. I have no doubt it will change again when/if it starts up(for the 4th time) . Also, I dont have the time to work on 2 different projects at once(unless I want to have no other interests except work) as I have plenty of "normal" changes/updates to keep me fully occupied.

Not knocking your thoughts, I would love to do that; its just impossible given the current set of circumstances/workload.
