Who is,or who was the KING OF THE GYPSYS ?---A fellow at work said there is a cemetery in town that has a crypt with the words KING OF THE GYPSYS on it.He says you can look thru a window and see the casket and a photo of this person.Any ideas ?

    There's a gypsy buried at a cemetary where I worked one summer named Okla Homer Smith.

    Englishman Bampfylde Moore Carew was first given this name in the early 18th century. I suspect the words "King of the Gypsies" on a crypt or headstone in this country and in this day an age is more an accommodation or fond remembrance than a statement having literal significance.
