Bush said in his speech today that there were/are some operatives in Pakistan including a nuclear scientist providing rogue countries nuclear bomb information and hardware. He mentioned North Korea and some country in Africa.May have also mentioned Iran. I didnj't listen to the whole speech.

And since he's a politician, how much do you believe? Or do you think only the "other" side would lie and mislead??

Are their lips moving? They're lying!

Bush was referring to Dr. Khan, the former head of Pakistan's nuclear weapons program. Apparently our good allies Pakistan were providing Iran, North Korea, and Libya with uranium centrifuges and were very active in the smuggling of nuclear materials worldwide.

Also seems that Pakistan, despite being a more prolific and more dangerous distributor of WMD technology than Iraq or North Korea, still rates being called a "trusted ally" because to admit otherwise would be a political embarrassment.

Now keep in mind that Pakistan's Inter Service Intelligence agency was a key ally of the Taliban's and provided them and Al Qaeda with money, training, and equipment. These ties are maintained to this day by various agents of the ISI. If anyone is capable of giving Al Qaeda the bomb, it's these folks.

If there was any candidate for "regime change", Pakistan is it. But of course it won't happen because Pakistan is poor and has no oil to pay for its own invasion.
