Well it seems she can't get confirmation so that she can log on to GB so Ill pass her message along.
Her question to me was and I quote" why don't they set up a chat room so that you don't have to sit in front of that stupid thing for hours hitting the refresh button to see if someone is responding to your message?"
Hours??? Do I sit here for hours?

NO HONEY I HAVE NOT BOUGHT ANOTHER GUN, BUT A NEW MOSSBERG 835 WITH THE NEW CAMO PATTERN WOULD BE A WONDERFUL THING FOR YOU TO GET ME FOR CHRISTMAS!

Notice I called her honey, learned that from SaxonPig, with senality setting in, I wouldn't want to call her by the wrong name!
It's amaxing how much knowledge ive gained from everyone in here! LOL

I cannot type fast enough,I would forget the answer to a question before I could get it typed, usually do not have that much to say.

Can't you set it to be notified via e-mail if there is a response to your post? Or was that the old format, or maybe ... uh, nevermind...Honey!

Well yesterday I thought there was a problem with the site, it did not notify me that I won an auction. But nobody else seemed to think the same.
And also on a similiar note I did not get the secret password and handshake when I passed from a mere starting member and a real member. When is that going to arrive? Lets get cracking GB. Whattaya think, that I going to live forever?

Classic brought the chat subject a couple of days ago. I am in favor of it even though I've never used real-time chat before. What ever the majority of members want to do is fine with me. Welcome abourd Mama.

Having sat in on more than a few IRC sessions over the years, I doubt I would participate unless this site was down / closed. Far too many moronic trolls in that sea. We have a few here from time to time, but for most it is too much work and our moderators do a great job of screening out the trash that does wash up on our shores.

No need to sit around waiting for a reply. I check in here more frequently than many, and I don't spend that much time on the site. The settings allow you to see which topics have been addressed since your last visit.

I like the site the way it is. I think a running chat would hurt more than it would help. Instead of 1000 people seeing your question over a coupla hours there would only be a few until the question scrolled out of the screen. I enjoy all of your replies to everything too much to sacrifice access to all of them even if they are a day or two old. I appreciate the constant wisdom and wit that is posted on these forums. Please keep it the way it is--Mark
