    This is a case of where a speedy trial is warranted.

    He was caught redhanded.

    Take him in front of a judge and put his * in jail for 15 years mandatory.

    BECAUSE in our FAILED justice system the perp is favored over the victims...they have more "rights" than accountability...see it in the news every day....we have NOT learned how to manage a society...i favor freedoms but when i see the discipline and fast progress of a country that has control of its goals i wonder if we have lost the best way

    Bail and bond are not interchangeable terms in the justice system. The Eighth Amendment to the Constitution prohibits ?excessive bail,? and that has been interpreted to mean bail cannot be used as punishment, it can only be used to ensure a defendant?s appearance at trial. Bail may have been set at $500,000 (or even higher) but the "suspect" was given a cash alternative and a bondsman put up a $51K bond.
