at my house, while having dinner with friends.
buyer asked about a gun for his wife, who just took the CC class last week. she qualified with a ruger single six, but needs a carry weapon.
I handed him my sig p238 and he offered to buy it.
the mrs liked it and the deal was made. he wrote a check after dinner and I made a copy of his KS drivers lic.
another dinner guest stated that the transaction wasn't legal unless we informed the local (city) LEO and rec'd approval. he was quite adamant about it.
I explained that the only time local LEO was involved is if I was purchasing a full auto weapon, like an M16
bottom line, buyer left with the gun last night.
an hour ago, local LEO comes to my door and asks to see my paperwork "for the M16"
needless to say, THAT guy and his wife will never be invited to dinner again!!
BTW, the undersheriff seems like a great guy! we talked guns for 1/2 hour and asked if i would bring some weapons to the range for him to shoot.. [:)]

seriously?
at my house, while having dinner with friends.I assume you've downsized that friends list!!!!!!
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!

Good call!!!
Yesterday, I was at the range, and I got to shoot a P238 for the first time (friend has one). I was very pleased with the way it shot. I found the gun to be very controllable, and it had very little perceptible recoil.
If the gun was closer to $400.00, I'd have to have one. But, being that it would be about $600.00 OTD, methinks I'll pass --- for now. [:p]
.
return the favor. Call in a child sweat shop making meth.
My thoughts exactly, turn that sumbich in for trying to sell you some meth. tit for tat....
Sadly, in the near future, a transaction like that will be illegal.
It already is in many locales.[V]

From now on be sure to have a friendly family dog handy to greet guests at the front door. Dogs can just tell about people, so learn to read the signs they give...
