Our High School Guidance counselor and basketball coach passed away today after a long battle with Cancer! He was only 44 years old! He leaves behind a nice wife and two great kids! He will be sadly missed! Guess alot of sadness at the school today most of the kids are taking it pretty hard!

Your prayers for his family would be appreciated!!!`

Life is short Pa. Just shorter for some than others. Not trying to be funny or insensitive or smart aleck on this end. I have knocked on that door looked in and spit in the grime reapers eye. Actually, I was given another chance and whenever I hear of someone young like that dieing, I think of the family and parents of the young man/woman.

Lost my best friend last year age 47.

Sometimes it just is not fair and there is nothing we can do but accept a thing that we would change if we could.

Be there for the family Pa.

    Sorry Pa.
Tough thing to understand, even for those of us that are far removed.
I know from experience that it will mean alot to his family to know that others share their loss.
Make sure they know that Pa.

Very sorry, Tim. At times the cliche that "only the good die young" seems terribly, sadly accurate. Deepest sympathies.

My condolences. I lost my mom to cancer when I was 17, in 1980. She was 39. Way too young for both of us.

    Hi Pa,
Sorry for the late condolences, but the sentiment is real. Viewings and such are awkward but necessary things to the grieving process. I always said I would not have one, that is until my little brother died. I never realized how many people he touched in his short life. You don't have to say anything, just being there and acknowleging that a peson had value to you is enough.

"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it that the former does not submit to hereditary predjudices, but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." - Albert E.
