IT GRABBED MY COMPUTER!

I clicked on one of the advertisements on GB and it grabbed my computer and wouldn't let it go. Damn that pisses me off. Only way out was to reboot it. I swear by the Almighty I will NEVER click on another one anywhere! [:(!]

Didn't know how. I hit the back arrow, the forward button, the stop button, the refresh button and even the pretty red X up in the right hand corner and it would just pop up another box with two options and neither one would work. Those kind of companies are the lowest in my opinion.[:(]
It was the insurance one with the ugly old woman.

Control-alt-delete at the same time takes you to your task manager then shut them down manually that will work for the easy ones

What was the ad? We test all we can and have not seen that behaviour.

I've had some issues with Java 7 adds. My corporate IT guys haven't uploaded it through the corporate network yet so some of the ads don't run right.

It is the insurance ad Captain. At this moment there is an old black mans picture on it but it is the same auto insurance company. Don't know the name of it. When I clicked on it there was a picture of an old white woman. No biggie. Just taught me a lesson is all.

It should be illegal for a popup to open when you hit the close button.......................

Once again, check the host file fix. Almost all the links in Google, GB, and others just show a red x.
