...LNIB, as in factory original WITH box & all paperwork, $1,200 is a decent price, same condition 2-3 years ago $900 to $1,000 would have bought it, 2-3 years from now it will take $1,400 to buy, whats not to like...[;)]

1200 IMO is top dollar. Offer him 1050.

Yeah, as most have stated, $1k to $1200. If it happens to be a polished SS version then a little more. Out of my many 10mm's, the Colt's are the most inaccurate of any of the 1911 platform.
