Looking to buy some old .22's

I am in the market to buy some vintage .22's.

I prefer old Winchesters, Remingtons, Colts, and Marlins, among others.

Some for my meager collection and some to give away.

What would you recommend for:

1) My collection, and

2) To giveaway.

Please explain your decision and why.

Thank you in advance.

For a give away it would b hard to beat a Winchester 67, the M67 has been teaching shooting for almost 100 years, plus you can still pick them up for just over $100. How about a nice old Stevens for your personal collection, they are great shooters with a ton of character, something like this:

    I assume pistols and rifles?
Colts. Ace and Peacemakers. Always increasing in value and very cool.
H&R 22 revolvers. Very cool and becoming very desirable and collectable.
Marlin Model 1897 and 39. Awsome and highly collectable for quality specimens.
Smooth bore 22 rifles have a great collector following and they are fairly scarce.
Any Winchester 22s are always desirable.
I'm also a big fan of Hamiltons, Stevens, Quackenbushes, Remington, and Winchester "boys rifles". The seem to be still fairly inexpensive and are gaining collectors followings!
    just my thoughts!!
    good luck

    Very nice. I like it.

    Reminds me of my youth.

    67's are the bomb.

A price range would help first.

    I do appreciate your taste.

I like the 69's, among others.

    These are pretty cool, too.

    These aren't bad, either.
