Got a decent deal.

May keep a few and give some away.

Mostly Winchesters, Remingtons, and others.

Last time I said anything about a giveaway I was chastised for doing such.

In the future, I'll have no such nonsense and will give away what I damn well please.

I don't recall reading a post where you were chastised.
So I'm a bit in the dark.
On some of the other GB forums, they frown on giveaway talk.

    What happened?

In the late 1980s when I had an FFL I went to police auction and bought 42 guns. Mostly 22 rifles and single shot shotguns. Bought them as a lot and paid an average of $11.50 each. Sold most of them and gave a bunch to friends. Gave two 22s to my FiL because the first one I gave him was stolen. He seemed very impressed that I could go to the closet and pull out a Marlin or Glenfield 22 auto rifle at will.

Bigt, I've been trying to post some pictures of the 511 but for some reason I can't download to Hunt101. May have to find another host.
But I think it looks really good, haven't got out to shoot it yet. I totally stripped it and de-rusted, sanded, did some draw filing, got most of the pits out. Really a great little rifle.
Thanks again. I'll keep trying to get some pics posted.
