Actually was not as bad as I expected.
The estimate was a bit of a shock, $4200 for a set that is a good shot gun.
How does this compare to some of your costs, I know that I need them but the cost was surprising.
Larry

I have worked on machines my whole life. 10 years working on F-16s, T-38s and T-37s.[:(]
First, I'm going to an independent dealer who carries several different brands and styles.
Anybody have some suggestions or personal experiences to offer?
When i had cancer i applied to the VA and they said i made to much money. At the time i applied i was not making anything because i had been sick for 9 months.[:(]
What you need to do is either work with the DAV or a county service rep and reapply. Take in all the info you have on your service. List jobs and units you were at. Request a copy of your service records. Also request a copy of your medical records. If you spent any time in a Medical Hospital you will need to request copies of the records they have for you.
They do not just hand this stuff out they make you work for it.
However i would not say it helped with it at all because like i said it was just a few seconds.
I have my paperwork and i will send it in again.
Plus i want the card saying im a vet.
My wife helped me fill out the paperwork i think because i am having some memory problems now.
Again DAV or a county service rep. They know how to word it so your claim goes thru also when they are the ones to send it in the VA seems to look at it less and approve it. Don't use them and I will make a bet it is denied again.

should be in the county courthouse, use them Dave they are free
i be interested when they can cancel screaming tinnitus
Right!!
I would put the hearing aid in my ear, the plug up the hearing on my right ear. I could not hear any better in the ear than before the hearing aid. Next time I will not have them screen out any outside noises before I get the hearing aid. They say that should not make any difference. I believe it does.
Get the hearing aid and when they has about screening out excess noise, tell them "NO".
