Hello, just saw a commercial, "Bowling For Columbine" will be out on VHS and DVD August 19th. Anyone here going to buy it?? Can DVDs be launched with a clay pigeon launcher??

    This would be illegal and I'm not recomending it but, if you put tape over the copy protect of the cassete you could dub anything you wanted on it.I only mention it because I rented animal house one time and some one had edited parts of it.

    I wouldn't waste the electricity or my time to watch it, much less rent it. If I wanted lies, I can get them free from the New York Times. On the web of course...

    Cds and DVDs do not fly well from a clay bird thrower. I know.

    I saved a bunch of those aol discs for that reason.

    They go out a little, turn sideways and you can't see them. [:(!]

    Well I'm not sure if I will buy the DVD, but I certainly will rent it. I can see that you all are not fans of it... and I guess it's pretty predictable that I would be. HAHA! But I highly recommend not shooting the DVDs and what not from launchers of any sort. for one, you'd be wasting your money (unless you steal them) and two, what would be your point in destroying what's only going to be duplicated and plopped right back on the shelves?

    yes.. we seriously need to go shooting. I'm really actually excited about it, whether you believe me or not. And yes, pigeons cost also. so why not just make something to shoot from odds and ends around the house? I'm sure martha stewart could help you with that one. I mean you get some target practice in, plus you get rid of useless junk around the house! Killing 2 birds with one stone! HAHA! I am too cute for words... kidding

    Because I didn't want to support that b@stard, I downloaded the movie off the internet. I have never seen sooo much liberal anti-gun propoganda in my whole life. And it makes me sick to think that Best Buy in there ad yesterday, put the movie as their editor's pick of the week...
