buddy has an AK. Says the trigger 'kicks forward' after firing a round. Any ideas?

I've got a Yugo, a Saiga, and a Draco Pistol.
Trigger slap is a design feature of all.

But I have no experience with AKs, so I'll shut up now.
needs stronger finger[^]
My oldest son, (an AR guy), complains every time he shoots mine.
I just tell him to grow a callus and get a real mans gun [:D][;)]
Most likely if your buddy is getting trigger slap he has a romanian ak or other older century imported ak (Maddi) with a "C" marked Century fire control group (FCG = trigger, disconnector, and hammer).
Tell him to order a Tapco G2 Single Hook FCG.
Here's instructions on how to get the old one out and replace it with a new one.

I bet there are youtube videos on it too.
Above link also has polishing instructions to cure the slap however, it has been my experience that that is temporary fix and usually will result in more problems down the line.
The Tapco is the best trigger out there for the AK and I have them in all my AK's.
He may want to get a Tapco retaining plate while ordering the G2. The retaining plate replaces the shepherds hook.
