    The forecast says another few inches tonight.

    Tomorrow it will be 45* and the new stuff will melt......leaving the other 18" of old stuff.

    C'mon SPRING!!!!!!!!

    Having plowed snow in the mountains and used a front end loader to lift it and dump it over side for 18 hours at a stretch, I do appreciate the feeling of too long and heavy a winter.

    Here in Phoenix we have the opposite. Summer stretches where we do not see temps under 100 until midnight, week after week. I've seen triple digits began as early as April, and drag on into early October. Not every year and not every part of the state, obviously. Just where I am trapped living.

    So far this early into the year, Arizona isn't doing too badly. Has touched middle 80's, almost 90. Now we are ramping back down into the 70's according to the long range forecast.

    I hear according to the Farmer's Almanac - more snow 1st week of April.
