Yet another Glock thread

I bought a Glock 43 today, for my birthday. It is quite a bit bigger than my Sig 938, so not sure how pocket carry will work out, but it feels slimmer. Going to have to send my Sig back for some repairs as it is not dependable as aback up. I'll be using the G43 as back up at work.

They had one blue label left and I took that *...Happy birthday to me! I ran three mags of various hollow point through it and it ran well. [:D]

My B-day haul...wife got me the Microtech LUDT

    Is that a gen 5?!
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

John also makes a slide on holster that covers the whole slide, and shoots off via thumb break

i have his first prototype for a g26, works awesome

I have become quite accustomed to mine & this little Desantis holster for pocket carry.

Last week a friend ran his through a pistol match and he shot really well with it- considering he was up against a bunch of USPSA race guns.[8D]

    Nice!

I had a buddy who just got one and I like it.

I was steering him toward the Sig 938 but after shooting both he settled on the G43.

    I liked it better also.

You made a great choice I think the Glock is a much better gun for the money and its one I would carry if I was looking for something like that.

Now go back to that Mexican joint with and check green cards[:D]

    Revenge is sweet[;)]

    Happy Birthday youngster.

I wouldn't carry it in any fashion without the proper holster for the job. [;)]

I have a rawhide Desantis holster for pocket/IWB for my Sig 938. I may opt for the one you have pictured instead. Thanks for posting that.

i just got off the phone with John he said the holster i was referring to is a email only because it is made custom for each user hand and thumb, they are pretty awesome, it is kydex that wraps around the slide, locks in place via pressure around the trigger guard with a slight lip for your thumb, when you push it the thing shoots off the end of your gun really fast , you can do this while still in your pocket with complete safety

Cool deal and congrats! Looks like you and I went on a B-day shopping spree the same way...I bought myself a Colt Cobra .38 to satisfy the "I have never owned a Colt handgun" itch...and then I couldn't pass up a 7.5" Redhawk .41 mag that looked brand new but was languishing on the used rack for months at $600...I got it down to $375.00.

And what I was REALLY in the market for was a Coonan .357 Auto... I'll have to wait till next month for that one...[:D]
