I have not seen most of his earlier ones. But I have to agree I've always like this movie.I watched it last night on CMT. It seemed like there were so many commercials though. I can remember my dad watching "Any which way you can" several different times when I was a kid. For some reason I always liked that one also.

I enjoyed Lonesome Dove too, but I still can't get over the fact that it was a Hallmark Greeting card production - one of the most ANTI-GUN Companies out there.

I like Pale Rider better.

Unforgiven has grown on me over time. Didn't really care for it when it 1st was out. Felt it was a liberal's view of the old west where they feel the need to educate the audience and crush the old west fantasy views we hold.
