Who watches "Lost"?

I only saw 4 or 5 episodes during the regular season, but, can't miss the reruns. Normally, I'm not much of a tv viewer, but, Lost really intrigues me. I think the island is some sort of nuclear or biological experiment gone awry.

Anybody have a theory?

I usually stick to "The History Channel", "Discovery Channel" or "Speed Channel" but I must admit that "Lost" drew me in (I was initially forced to watch is as it's the wifes favorite show). I tuned in every week for the action. The reruns during the season were driving me nut though. Certanly my favorie character is Lock. I'm looking forward to season # 2!

Lock is very interesting. I didn't "get" his character until I started watching all of the shows from the beginning episode.

I watched "Land of the Lost" in the 70s. . .

    Does that count?

Wife and I love it. Not the same old cop, lawer, or doctor show.

Nothing else like it on network tv. Same guy is responsible for "Alias".

Definately a good show, drives me crazy trying to figure out what the hell is actually going on with the invisible dino and all the other crazy stuff that seems to randomly happen. Seems like a pretty cool island to me!

I think I quit watching about the time what's his face started spouting off that he was "the chosen one". ROFL.

I don't think it is a dinosaur. I think it is a contraption of some sort used by the Others or some other entity to scare and control the Lostaways and it is harmless, since Locke saw it and survived.

drobs, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it will be on sale soon (probably after the summer re-runs) or is already available.

Check out this There are other sites, too, but this one is mostly following the re-runs.

    www.lost-tv.com

It gives a sales date of Sep 6 for the dvd set

I've seen most or possibly all of the episodes from last season. My wife likes it, but I don't see it going anywhere. I find myself hoping a tsunami will just wipe out the island and have done with it.

I watch "Lost" also. Like everyone else I'm trying to figure it out and am looking forward to the episode where all the secrets of the island are revealed.

About the 5th or 6th episode is where they "lost" me.

So this small group of six or so are being stalked by a creature of some sort. The thing bellows and charges them through tall grass. I guy pulls out a semi-auto and empties it into the beast, killing what looked like a tricked out polar bear and it falls dead at their feet. All the other people were worried about where he got the gun. That was enough for me. Typical Hollywood.

Like in the NFL, defense is the key.

What's not to like? They are trapped on an island with guns! It's like survivor with out all the drama and annoying back stabbing.
