I am not happy with Photobucket.
Some pictures I can link to, and some I can't, and there's no reason for it.
Photobucket also takes a long time to load and upload, and it is covered in ads.
Is there a free service other than Photobucket that works well?

Worked like a charm and their is no need to "clean up" after U select the photo to post.
click "insert image" here, then post the picture and....same thing with one extra step involved

Not sure why you are having issues have you contacted them for assistance?
And me not being a hi tech guy, if I can do it it's gota be easy.[;)]
It's very easy to use and I've never had any trouble using the site. I can order prints and they are mailed to my house cheaper than I can get them done by driving to a store.

With flickr, I 1st run my camera pictures through microsoft paint and reduce the size by 50 (height and width) twice. This makes uploading faster.
Then using Flickr's old up-loader (upper right hand corner) I can upload them fast.
Linking them once saved is old school. Hit edit on your photostream.
Right click on the picture, copy image location (if using firefox) or right click and manually copy the html address if using internet explorer.

I'm leaving a space in the above photo link. "_m" = a small picture.

taking out the "_m" = a medium sized picture.
changing "_m" to "_b" = the largest picture:

The only issue I have with flickr is you are limited to so many pages of pictures (13 in the edit screen).
