Does anyone else look through Shotgun News and keep a mental list of stuff you would use to arm a militia? I do this everytime I open the thing. I think.. ooo.. we should get some of those for snipers.. and ooo, thatd be a good gun for cover fire.. and oooo, we should buy 30 cases of that, and oooo, we need these cleaning supplies to stock the bunker.

Am I the only paranoid one that does this?

    I do the same thing with Better Homes and Gardens. Some of those draperies are to just die for.

    As a civilian I would look through the SGN with jealousy thinking "Wow, to be a dealer and to make all that profit".

    As a dealer I learned the greed of the consumer and lost monies accordingly.

    I love SGN. If you read it instead of just look at the pictures there is a lot of information to be had. Some of the best deals are in the little written ads by smaller companies who can't afford huge pictures of their guns. Gun lists is another of my favorites. Found an old gentleman in Iowa who had 8 Marlin 45 carbines still in the boxes from years back selling them for $275 each. Incredible!

    Ruger- the point is that paranoia is the unwarranted fear of something that is imagined. If there really is something to be feared, then the same fear is considered caution. In looking at todays world and government, I'd conclude that the behavior we are discussing would fall much more into the category of caution rather than paranoia.
