I cant believe it. I've been looking for 1) a factory wheel cheap for my Tahoe, for a spare tire rim, I'm just like that, I hate driving around with a spare that doesnt look like the rest of the tires/wheels. 2) the head rests for the 2nd seat in the back.

Well, I found a wheel, cheaper than what I'd found previously, though the shipping brought the price up to nearly 60.00, still not bad considering. Then, this is the good part. A fella just listed a set, thats 2 head rests, for the rear seats of a suburban, same thing, gray in color, good thats what I need, and in leather, I wanted a matching set in vinyl, but if you insist, I'll take them! They are in good shape except for a very tiny mark on one of them. Factory head rest replacements cost, DONT CHOKE!, $160.00 a piece, thats each, for these head rests. How much did I pay? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! $40.50 for the set, including shipping! WOO HOO! MADE OUT LIKE A BANDIT!
They were from a vehicle the guy had leased and returned, and forgot to put back in the vehicle. The dealer didnt realize it, and he didnt take them back to the dealer. Someone else's loss, not my fault, but my gain. I can live with this!

Maybe next time I rent a vehicle, I'll remove a piece or two and then return it! If they don't notice, I can sell them on "that other site" and after 2-3 rentals have enough for another gun! NO!! I won't do that!!! I have about as much use for a theif as an ....... that pulls a knife on me!!! GHD

    ghd,
I know exactly how you feel about thieves, me too, but I dont think this fella did it on purpose. If he did, he wouldnt have 100% good feedback, cause a thief is a thief, ya know. If he'd have taken them back the vehicle would probably already have been gone anyway, if it took him a while to realize he had them.

Did it myself once on a custom van, took all six of the headrests off and stored them in the garage. Two years later sold the van, found the HR's months later. Stuff happens!
