Received a nice turkey call today!!

Elect1 Mike sent me a nice homemade turkey call that someone had made for him. It is a box call and the tone is fantastic! Mike thanks so much until your better paid!

Last year I received a homemade call from Salzo!

Did I mention to everybody that I am collecting turkey calls!!![^]

    Ive got one a very old gentlemen give me,he was some sort of expert hunter and at the time he gave me the Home made Turkey call he still hunted?His vehicle quit on I-81 and I called a tow truck for him and give him a courtesy ride home and enjoyed his hunting story's.When I got him home he insisted I come in and look at the beards and fanned out tails he had.Any way he ended up insisting I take one of his prized home made Turkey calls.I told him I couldnt do that as he said he sold them for $30.00,but I would come back another time and visit as his wife had passed away.Several months later me and a buddy were going rabbit hunting and it so happened we drove by his house and stopped as I wanted one of those calls.It has the best sound of any box call Ive heard.The older gentlemen remembered me and gave me a call,he would not let me pay him for it.

    Another one who has the sickness. I cant walk past a piece of wood without thinking how it woyuld sound whittled down to a turkey call.
    Every piece of wood is a turkey call waiting to come out.
