Crooked Democratic mayor in Erie

The Democratic mayor here in Erie, PA is being asked to resign after being mayor for just a year. There are plans to build a horse race track with slot machines on an International Paper mill site that went out of business. The mayor's law partner, campaign manager, and brother all bought property near the site before anybody knew about the plans. The mayor denies he knew anything about what these friends and relative were doing. Of course he is lier. The City Council president, also a Democrat, who a few years ago who was ahead of the Democratic Party in Erie County, is also calling for his resignation. The City council president a few years ago was caught with a prostitute while heis wife was on her death bed. From what I understand and from what he has said he wants to run for the mayor position. The old saying "There is no honor among thieves" runs true in the city of Erie. Ninery percent of the time elections are determnined in Erie during the Democratic primary. If you are a Republican, you will never get elected in Erie.
