The wife graduated from law school today. Most of her family came in from California and it was quite a thing. Now she gets to start studying for the Bar exam in July. I'm mostly glad that I can stop writing those tuition checks. She had an interview with a law firm yesterday that apparently went very well so she may have a job lined up. Not a great position but it's a start. Maybe someday she can support me in the style to which I'd like to become accustomed.

PS: The student representative who spoke gave the most inappropriate and offensive speech I've ever heard. He was black and he gave a campaign speech for Obama and then criticized America's racist nature, the racism of the Constitution, and singled out the law school itself as racist. I kept waiting for him to make reference to the oppressive White Devils. Sounded like a Louis Farrakhan speech except less articulate. I would have asked him that if America is so racist how is it he is now a law school graduate who has the freedom to get up and insult the country, the school where he was educated, and every white person in the audience without fear of retribution? Here is the type of person supporting Obama in case anyone wondered.

Got the MC out of the shop yesterday (trans repair) and it's running good. Weather is nice. Annual chili cook off down the road to raise money for scholarships for kids of service folks. Fun event. Plan to ride over and sample the chili and have some cold soft drinks and toss some cash towards a good cause.

Then I'll come home and swap the bike for the truck and head out to the gun show one town over.

It's a good day to be me. :)

Where are you going to school? I'm at App State, in Boone, North Carolina.

Had my first day. Well, what can i say... It is definetly different from high school, but in a good way. I can see it will have its pro's and con's. Not sure on my major yet, so I am taking Administration of Justice, Poly Sci, Eng 1a, Econ 1a, and Bus 1a. Political Science is sure to be intersting as the professor is a flaming leftist, the books he chose are "American Government: Minority Perspective's", and "California:Diversity". Funny he should choose these books since at my school, I am the minority (OHHH, how Politically Incorrect of me to say that!), with at least 33% being gangster blacks (yes, with their doo-rags or hats on sideways, and there pants to their ankles), another 33% being mexicans, and another approx. 7% being asians. Oh well, I'll get an education all right!

    Tesla,

That should be an interesting Law Class there in Kalifornia. Bet you'll have some interesting debates with the folks in your class reference many of the same issues we discuss here on GB. Let us know if you need some firepower!

Are you working towards a Law Enforcement/Administration degree?

Not too sure on a degree yet, quite possibly law enforcement, or business. You should see my Admin. of Justice class, about half of the students are (no kidding) gangsters with there hats on sideways and there gang colors and pants down to there ankles. It is quite disgusting, and no doubt they are getting a free ride. The only reason they are taking that class is too see if somehow they can get out of a crime they commit constitutionally...
