Gun give away idea

It seems that every one on GB is giveing away a gun. So I thought we should just start swaping guns. Select-fire can start it off by giveing me his Mac-10[:p][:D][8D]. Then I would give my Garand to 7mmnut and so on and so fourth untill everybody has a new gun.

    Maybe this should be broken down into categories like big caliber and small caliber. I wouldn't want to be held responsible for anybody getting hurt from shooting the cannons I favor.[:)]

    Actually I want to have a giveaway for Christmas this year. I have a NEF Handi Rifle combo in .243 and 20G I would like to give away this year to someone who has a youngster that is going to be hunting next year for the first time. After all the help I recieved this year and the many requests not to attempt to pay it back I have decided that I would do this instead. I have to think about how I'm going to go about it but I have the gun that I will send to one of our FFL dealers here on GB so he/she may send it to the winner. As soon as I figure out a set of rules and how the winner will be decided I will post it.

    That is a great idea! I don't have kids but I'll contribute a box or two of .243 and 20G so the youngster will have something to shoot. Just let me know where to send it when the time comes.

    At least sending out a Red Ryder BB gun would be less of an insult than sending them a Jennings J-22.
