Why is this two sided stone fine/finer worth almost $300

Fleabay auction

But I've only got one bid on this medium stone:

edit = with 16 hours to go there have been a few more bids but it's still going cheap!

Your stone is worth a minimum of $50.

I need one now, but I'm broke like a joke, and have plans the next 4 weekends.

Don't really need it right now, but I did my part...at least it will bump it up a little bit for you. Hopefully someone will start bidding on it...

Henry, I guess it is because of its age, condition, and grit. The
new MB35 is listed as an India stone, single medium grit, 5 x 2 x 5/8, for about $15 or so.

With 77 bids, some folks wanted it.

ECC, I bumped it up a little.[:D] I have more stones than I need/use already. Plus, I'm like one of the others, I'm broke.[:(]

Well if you are not going to bump it up past what I bid, stop bumping! I'm broke too![;)][:D]

Thanks for bidding, guys. The opening bid was my break even price.

I'm not sure how the age can be a negative on a piece of stone? As for the condition, it appears to have been used for only a few strokes on one side...
