Finished the grips for....(King' the other grips)

...the Spiller and Burr BP revolver. 36 cal. Used Cocobola wood. (Oily and hard to work) Of course I say finished but I am never really satisfied[V] and as time goes on I will do more, [}:)]just have to, on the grips and the revolver itself.

Went out in the back and fired off one chamber. Got a nice 'Crack' to it when it fires.[8D][:p][:)] Look out Juju I think this ones comming with us in October.[:D]

Will post a picture this evening I hope. Nothing special but I'm happy.[^]

    Ive been thinking about getting a spiller and burr for my reenacting stuff. I like the looks and the history behind it. I really like those wood grips.

    Spiller and Burr had a good design concept, just the wrong material (brass) and came too late,[?] I believe[?], and in small quantity(compared to others) I like it though, can change cylinders as quickly as with the Remington once you get the hang of it.

    HEHE, sidenote here, my buddy found a pub over by ASU that has 8 kinds of cider on tap and a lot of college hotties tending bar, next time y'all are out this way I'll by a couple of rounds. With the reputation that them ASU gals have, ole' Art might not get shot down this time[;)]
