2nd Amendment Tax Free Holiday - Crazy Sales in MS

This weekend, Fri.-Sat.-Sun. is a tax free holiday on all guns, ammo, crossbows, Panzerfaust's, gun safes, suppressors, you name it, tax free in Mississippi.

I went to three different gun stores/pawnshops and made out like a bandit. So much wheeling & dealing, especially on used guns, it was incredible. Each store was slam packed. I mean slammed.

I bought a new Colt AR-22 & extra mags, a used Talo exclusive Ruger Blackhawk stainless 3.75 inch barrel with black laminate grips, an older (1999) polished stainless "original" Vacquero in 45 long colt with 5.5 inch barrel, an old S&W 645, a case of 20 gauge Rio shells for busting clay birds, a basic black Taurus judge 3" barrel, several boxes of 410 shells, some Hornady 44 special, some 41 magnum, some 10mm, case of .38special just because, ten surplus metal AR mags $5.00 each. I had to really restrain myself from buying another S&W 5906 for $350 (I already have one).

At every store the staff was amazing, very organized and well run. The customers were being overly polite to one another amidst the mild chaos, helping each other with advice, and politely waiting their turn to handle a gun. I have never heard more "s'cuse me" "pardon me" and the new phrase "oops my bad", "come on by" "no problem" in my life in a crowded scenario.

Great day, the dueling tree will be ringing tomorrow!!!
