It was because they were only 93rd, not 1st.

The Greenville Police Dept. Is not 93rd out of any arbitrary number. They are just the 93rd dept. To meet all the requirements for certification. The next dept. Will be 94th but that doesn't make Greenville PD better just that they got certified sooner. That's my understanding of the situation.

Seriously, why was the thread locked? I see nothing posted that would earn the thread a lock.

    I think it was a pre-emptive strike.

Sometimes a man is just proud of something. In this case, Mr. Nunn should well be proud. And I'm sure it makes him feel good, and he has a sense of great accomplishment, and the reward of a job well done by all. I expect he just didn't want the braying of * to drown out a proud moment for him, and his fellow officers. I don't blame him.

Congratulations, David, to you and all the others who made that department what it is.

I didn't lock it, and I was surprised to see the lock on such an innocuous thread. I have made inquiries.

Colt locks everything. He is very preemptive. He sometimes locks threads before they are threads. Don
