Common decency and good taste

Are severely lacking these days. I was keeping my nephew yesterday and he's just learning to read, so on the way to one of our rental farms to check cattle we were reading road signs, billboards, bumper stickers, etc. why do people feel the need to post vulgar bumper stickers or wear vulgar t shirts? I'm all for the first amendment, but have some decency. Opinions?

    I agree, but its sort of cliche to gripe about people telling me how and what I can do or have with my guns, but yet I can tell them what they can and can not wear. Personally I have always thought minding your business is the best practice, if you dont like it dont look at it or go somewhere else.

    I agree, and I've practiced that routine. What got me to thinking about it was a window sticker that my nephew asked about. Can't print it here, but I had to tell him I couldn't see well enough to read it. I've also noticed while in public lots of people feel that it's cool to speak in loud tone and use profanity regardless of who's around. I have asked those folks to tone it down a time or two.

    They think it makes them;
    Cool
    Tough
    Cute
    Witty
    Special
    .......

    Put whatever you want. It's the same as the guys who put testicals under their pickup. They think it shows they are someone special.

    Not only in words but in what our youth wears and how they dress today. What is it with the pants down around your knees and your boxers hanging out.

    it's impressive that many youngsters nowadays have the reading skills to interpret these signs..if you can't blind them with brilliance, baffle them with BS...about as entertaining as some loudmouth on a cell phone determing the fate of the universe in public
