I saw an ad for AR-15 lowers for 33.99 the only catch was they are not metal but some type of composite. Where the barrel goes there was a copper insert for the grooves.

I would be scared of that gun. However that is dirt cheap.

I built up a gun using an American Tactical composite receiver and it works perfectly and all other parts were drop-in.
