dumped me off GB.
I'm getting stronger, but my right eye gets tired, and still having
headaches. Started back to work mon. and already working some
extra hours. It really piled up while I was gone. I heard from
the inmates they really missed me. Not that I cottle them, but
I do make sure if they are in pain or ill that they get treatment.
I try not to judge, and give helpful direction in their lives.
The neurologist got 95 percent of a grade one meningioma, but
will have to have another surgery again to get the rest. He
couldn't get to it from the angle and direction he went in.
The 5 percent left if next to the brain stem. Will make
an incision at the back of my head, and surgery will be
performed sitting up. If he gets this last part out, the
chance of it reoccuring is only about 15 percent. Good odds/
He wanted to go in pretty soon, but I told him I need to build
up my strength and mental resolve for another go around.
I miss chatting and reading all your posts, but haven't felt up
to it lately. I miss reading period. My eyes get tired.
I thank all of you who have sent me cards and e-mails. When
your down and out they sure bring cheer I'll tell ya. What a
great bunch you all are. Thanks for your prayers. I had a
real peace the day of surgery. Mouse

Sounds like things went as well as expected.
And you are getting better all the time.
Thoughts and prayers have been, and will continue to be, with you.
Mr. mouse gave us an update, tell him "thanks"
I may know what you mean when you say you had peace the day of the surgery. I have gone under the knife before. When you accept the inevitable, put yourself in God's hands, and surrender yourself to his will. There is a peace like no other.
Take it easy, so you can get your strength back, and get rid of the rest of it. Those sound like pretty good odds to me.
Post when you feel up to it. [;)]

How you doin'!
Sounds like you are trying to do too much too soon! I'm not saying don't keep busy, but, it will do you NO good to run yourself down. That will impede your recovery and make you take longer before the next surgery.
Our good thoughts and continued prayers for you. Keep up the good thoughts and attitude...that helps recovery more than you know.
GOD Bless You![:)]
