I sure hope that the Steeler lineup changes

Man, if this is the starting lineup that just played Philly, we are in trouble.

Politicians are like diapers, every so often you need to change them, for obvious reasons.

They got to be better than last year considering Kordell is finally gone.

PAbooger, I see you feel the same way about the Steelers as I do Penn State. I live 45 minutes from PSU and I cannot stand that team or their snobby arrogant coach.

Maybe the Steelers can get on of Dallas' fine QB's. I'm sure one of those guys could take them all the way![}:)]

7mm- I guess you havent realized yet, that if you are a fan of a Pennsylvania sports team, you are bound to be dissapointed. I used to think it was Philadelphia teams only, but now I think it is the entire state. Every year I get my hopes up, especially with the Sixers, then the eagles, and last of my concerns, the Phillys-and every year they royally screw the pooch. Now, instead of getting annoyed, I actually enjoy watching them go down the drain. Yeah I root for them, but love the "aftermath"-listening to all the ticked off fans call the radio station-gotta love it.

Most people would not think Paterno was snobby or arrogant. In fact most would think the opposite.
Years ago my parents were in a restaurant near State College. My dad saw a man in the restaurant that he thought was Joe Paterno. He went up to him and asked if he was Coach Paterno which he was, He and his wife Sue invited my parents to sit down with them and they talked about a half-hour. When he found out they were from near Bradford, PA he asked if they remembered Stu Barber from Bradford that played for him many years ago and later for the Bills in the old AFL league. He signed a napkin for my four boys spelling out all their names and saying "I hear your kids are great". My parents thought he was a real nice person to spend some time with them. Joe has run a clean program for years and has given back millions of salary to the University in order to improve their library. Most of the players that have played for him say he is a very tough coach and demands a lot from them, bur all of them seem to like and respect him.
