I dont know your situation very well but if i was dying i would give what i wanted to who i wanted to have it. That way they cant fight for anything.
I finally started taking things from my dad and that was one of the hardest things i have ever done. Too me it felt like i was stealing from him. My mom and sons wife told me to take what he gives me and smile.
Prayers and best wishes to you and your son. I hate greedy and selfish people.
I think this is the post that pushed him out the door. Several members on here went out of their way to insult him, and he only made 2 posts on GD after that.
Tom has enough problems with his health to put up with the aggravation he got on this post. I also miss him, but I can't say I blame him for leaving.
What caused him to leave was an earlier post about his new AR trigger selections.
It was very late/early.
And he didn't get anyone to engage with him (because most were asleep)
This is not the first time he has left. And you won't lure him back.
He will either return. Or he won't.
If you think someone here was able to offend him to the point that he just couldn't take it anymore, I think you underestimate the thickness of his skin.
He, like many of us, has his own demons.
Attributing responsibility to others for the actions of a grown man seems a little silly to me.
Apparently the man has cancer and elected
to forego chemo. It is likely that his time is limited.
He also posted about being involved in some
fisticuffs in a drinking establishment. Sounded
to me like it turned out badly for both the losers
(them) and the winner (him), which is about normal
for such occurrences.
Dealing with cancer and legal charges may not
leave much time for chit-chat on the entireweb.
I emailed Him On Several Occasions To Ask What was up With His Sickness as I Never Heard on the Forums
he never responded .....
I Don't wish him Any Harm Or Tough times
but I Tried To Contact him As A Concerned Member to no avail..
Dori's Cousin Has Had Liver And Pancreatic Cancer For going on 10 Years

Just Saw her This weekend Looks Great
You Figure it out......
Would Like to Help him try this
but.....

It seems it didn't take a lot for him to leave.
Maybe someday if you have the same health and other problems he is dealing with, we can all jump on your * and see how it works out for you.
The concern you show for another on here is amazing.

It had to be asked....
