Years ago peoplejust left everyone alone. If you didnt likeit you just left. But not now. Everyone gets on the White Charger and attacts. Andjust look where it has gotten us. I can't agree with you more.

If I or you or anyone wants to smoke, shoot, dress like a worker or even drive a hi perf machine, etc, there should be places that we can do this. And I mean in our society, not some little hole.

Some States are making laws to ban all of this. And to make matters worse, they are making laws to make us tolerate homos, lesbians and such and that they could bring up yungins.

The ANTI's are killing the American way of life.

I totally agree with you joe. Being in the medical community and not supporting the anti smoking non-sense makes me a little of an outsider sometimes. Is smoking bad for you - ya. Should someone be able to go to a bar and smoke - ya. I hate ppl legislating their morality on me.

And yes, health has become a religion to some. In the absence of God, communism turned to health as a sort of a religion. It happened in Russia and is happening here as well.

Yes, that is my 2 year old post. And look at new laws against many
of our beliefs since then. Gay marriage, unrestricted immigration
of Illegals, and now, Kerry getting a shot as President seeming

A lot of the anti whatever crap has been brought on by the actions of careless people such as There are a lot of ghost towns around here from when the railroads where built from coast to coast this is where the two of them meet. A lot of people go out there in the desert and shoot, unfortunately targets are good enough so they shoot up the signs that tell the history of the town, personal watercraft-I have a small aluminum boat that I use for fishing and everytime I go out someone on a jet ski has to see how close they can come to me. Dirt bikes--I dont know how many times I have gone riding my 4-wheeler and find tracks where dirt bikes and 4-wheelers have gone around signs that say it is closed or tore up a hill or meadow just too tear something up. There is nothing wrong with staying on designated trails. I could come up with all kinds of examples for anything. If people would act more responsible then others would have nothing to use against our activites but there are to many irresponsible people that have to screw things up for the rest of us. I am not anti anything but if I catch someone doing a stupid act that is going to hurt my rights that they know is illegal I will turn them in.

Couldn't agree with you more, in the county I work in they just started a no smoking law no smoking in any public building except bars restaurants and bingo halls. So I am no longer allowed to smoke at my workplace the thing that gets me is we have a weld shop in the building which is where everyone used to go and smoke but no more now we have to go outside. The law seems rather ridiculous for where I work being a weld shop and all its always full of smoke and grinding dust.

I didn't bring this back up because of the "smoking".

My point was the "anti's", on everything,
telling the rest of us what we can and can't do.

Ya know, "restrictions" and such,
laws like bike helmets,

I'll tell you one valid "anti": Anti-abuse of boom box power. When somebody's thumping bass pollutes the lives of people more than a few feet from the vehicle or site of speakers ...that's intrusion into the rights of others. I live on a corner, and they're already starting to swarm like cockroaches, with slightly warmer weather.

My fantasy is having a license to pump .223 rounds into offending vehicles, once occupants are safely removed, of course. I'd love to see the effect on an audio control panel.
