the concept of "nationalizing" wifi is a foreign one to me...since wifi is not owned by any given company or group of companies.
Any company, government agency, or individual can use a wireless router to extend service from their ISP to the wireless domain. Can't "nationalize" wifi unless you ban sale of routers to everyone except "approved" buyers.
I'm guessing the government is going to waste a ton of money to put in "free" hotspots in public areas...quite the waste since every damn coffee shop already provides free wifi and Starbuck's are literally on every corner. And many cities already provide their own free hotspots...

It should not interfere with your own ability (or Starbucks' ability) to operate wifi networks, its just a damn waste of money considering the number of the private and municipal hotspots we already have...and the fact that one would have to be a total fool to use a government owned (and therefore monitored) hotspot [;)]
