I just picked this up today. I had it on Layaway.
I wanted a piece of history so I bought this for $250.
It was manufactured in 1905.

    I love those old Colts!

    I measured it and cut it twice, and it's still too short!

    Seeing that old Colt brought back memories. We lived miles from town and my dad had one he just left laying around because it wouldn't fire. Probably a broken firing pin or something. This was back in the '40s, so guns were laying around everywhere. Anyway, I remember playing Cowboys and Indians all the time with it. I think I remember losing it one day while playing and never found it.....what a waste. [V]
