Saxon's "getting old sucks post" got me wondering just who is our oldest member. I'll start this off but please don't tell any of our lady members. I've been lying about this for about 20 years now! I'll be 64 is a few of months.

I remember stomping through our pond out back, thinking our 20 acres was as big as what 80 acres seems to me today. I remember the redwing black birds in flocks of thousands singing in the tops of the walnut trees, making me sleepy as I layed on a fallen blown down cherry tree, with the sun on my face. I remember tracking deer tracks around and around that pond, knowing that someday I'd be allowed to finally own a real gun and go after some of these deer. I remember when trapping was as big a deal to me as hunting, and just wished I could afford to buy one trap to start trapping those muskrat houses in our pond. I remember this and so much more like it was just yesterday. I guess I remember the best time of my life better than any other time. It seems like yesterday to me, so I guess that makes me about 11 years old. I'll always be 11, and I dont mind be told I act like a kid, even when its not a compliment. I've been eleven 3 1/2 times already. I wonder what it'll be like when I get to be an adult.[;)]

I'll be 45 this go round. Expect to get through puberty in the next twenty years or so. Folks in my family tend to live a long ,long time.
