Just got back from a short trip celebrating our 28th anniversary. Upon my return I see the Official Judge of the Gun Giveaway, TOOLS1, has made his decree as to who the winner is (see below).

"Greeker.
The winner is. With a guess of 8-16-03 and 11:07. Bigdaddyjr (Greeker Bigdaddy did put it in milatery time 1107hours = 11:07 AM)
Your 500th post was at 1:30. Since nobody was posting AM or PM. I just went with the closest time.

Now that is done, I will make it official and declare BigDaddyJr the official winner. If BDJ can contact me via e-mail we can get about taking care of getting him his prize.

What is it I won? I've forgotten what the contest was for. I do remember extrapolating the approximate time of Greeker's post based on his frequency and the lunar phase juxtaposed with a midnight sighting on Venice + or - the curvature of the earth. Hard to believe I was off so much.
