I'm really getting miffed at gunparts. I see an item in their add and call in the order and after five or six days I get a letter saying that the item is out of stock. Wouldn't mind if it was only once in a while, but it is every time now atleast one item is not available. It really stinks when you order the parts and then buy the gun then don't get the parts to shoot the gun.[}:)]Maybe I would not have bought the gun if I knew they had no parts for it. And what is so hard about telling me on the phone that the item is out of stock? I'm going to break down and buy a milling machine and cut them off the gravy train.

    I have the same problem with those folks. I can understand that not all the items in the catalog might be in stock, but why do they take the order, waste my time and then let me know a week or two later that they cannot fill the order. I complained about this to them a couple of years ago and they responded with a nasty letter and refused to send me the new catalog that I had already paid for. A month later, they refunded the price of the catalog. I haven't ordered anything from them since and I go out of my way to badmouth them every chance I get.

    I'm with you guys on this one GPC's customer service sucks to be blunt. they really need to get a website with a numbered amount of items instock for every part.
    example
    winchester model 37
    buttplate
    price = x.xx
    available = x amount

    popperts gun parts has a limited amount of parts but if they have what you need you couldnt find a better company to deal with, extremmly freindly and knowledgable http://www.poppertsgunparts.com/index.htm

    I have a small (for us) C&C mill due in Monday. It is for the tool room and only holds 16 tools. Have a saw due in Friday (C&C) that will cut a four inch one quarter wall tube in 16 seconds. In process of building a welding robot and a drilling & tapping machine.
