Anyone in or near Reno Nevada?

My wife is going to a seminar for five days out there sometime soon. I may have to go as well, but we'll see. I can handle the plane tickets, but accomodations are a different story unless I sell off a gun.[:(] Anyone got a spare cot or know of a CHEAP motel near there? I've got an old buddy out there, but she would probably shoot him on sight. One of those kinds of old buddies.

We had a board member up their who used to post quite a bit but he hasn't been on in awhile. I could dig up his screen name, we exchanged a few emails.

You can stay at my house if you want, but its in California and a 2 hour drive from Reno on I-80.

Lots of cheap motels in Reno. rofl. Well what do you call cheap?

The casinos are pretty cheap. Check their on-line web sites. I stayed there about two years ago at the casino next to the NRA convention for less than twenty dollars a night.

Why couldn't they have it in Vegas. I can get a suite comped at the Grand and flights are close to free if you're on the hotel guest list.
