Clutter is Better!

In my office (a metal building outside the house) I had the best of everything. My computer sets against a wall filled with business cards tacked on with staples from every good company that provides home services from painting to gravel hauling, and at a glance, I can tell my customers who to call when they ask...who to call.
Another wall had the notes from calculations for duct design and types of materials,ect...!
My wife talked me into a change and a cleanup. So, I cleared the office, painted and organised everything and the bear walls looked good. It wasn't long before I couldn't find needed info. quickly and the new system began to fail. The office was lonely. So I now am tacking the cards back on the wall as well as the tech info. But the thing I missed most was the 10 years of pictures and painted drawings of houses, people, animals, and the many "I Love You Daddy" signs made by my young daughter on simple white sheets of paper. They will cover my walls again today and things will be back to normal in just a few minutes!! What was I thinking???

A clean office is a sign of a sick mind [:D][;)][:o)] Ya know my office has got gremlins in it I swear! I can spend 8 hours to clean it up and make it nice and tidy. Next day I go in and more crap is on the floor. Think my wife is trying to stuff 10 lbs of stuff in a 2 lb hand bag.

Nothing gets done in a clean office. I just wish I had one.

When I was a child, I thought as a child. But now that I am grown, I just wish I could act like a child and get away with it.

My garage, shop and truck all have sort of a post apocolyptic look about them. My only organized spot is the reloading area for obvious reasons.I wouldn't trade the "to papa" signs or "in memory" patches that hang on my walls for anything. I do know where everything is though.
