Got the Kimber CustomTLE l l today

Feeds and ejects smoothly.Real nice adjustable trigger.Flared mag well,Eclipse grips,extended safety... Need a shorter front blade.Could just file it down, but it has that blasted white dot on it so I'd end up with half a dot on the front. What the hey, I'll just paint the whole front site white and file away.

    You have to say"oh those are nice,put them on it", then they come with Eclipse grips.

    Oops,just noticed the sights are tritium. Guess I'll have to find the shorter front blade after all.

    Mine didn't either. I thought I saw them on the other tactical .45 from Kimber. Does it have an external extractor?

    I'll go look. Nope. Just like the Colt's.
    I e-mailed Kimber and told them it shot way low at 25 yds and that I would like them to send a shorter tritium front blade. I don't want to send the thing back already. Supposed to call the custom shop during bss. hrs. tommorrow. I think Ed at the gun shop put the grips on for me from a used gun or maybe he ordered them. They look new.
