I'm finding that having my wife gone has it's rewards.Even though I'm having to do all the cooking and cleaning and shopping etc..when the chores are done I can sit back and have a couple of cold ones without someone counting them out to me."you know that's your third one!"
I can smoke a cigar in the house without someone telling me to "get that smelly thing out of my house!"Besides, three dollar cigars are fragrant, or at worst odiferous, but definitely not smelly! And when I leave the seat up, it stays up!

    Yup, know the feeling.

The temporary bachelor life is great, aint it?

My wife doesn't count the cold ones because there are no cans or bottles. She just keeps an eye on how often the 1/4 keg needs replacin'. [:D]

Wife is heading out for the holiday weekend. [:0]
Now I get to do all of her chores. [:(]
Never said that I don't appreciate what she does around here. [;)]
Like you said, at least the seat can stay up. [:D]

Geez I never thought of that. Ill have to remember to do that next time the wife is away. I usually spend at least a couple of hours straightening the place up before she gets home-get a maid so the cleaning wont cut into my fun time.

ODT-for $40 you'd be lucky to get one with only the apron. I'd rather pony up the extra Benjamins for the real deal (apron optional)[}:)][}:)][}:)] I'm a dirty old man stuck in a young man's body, really sucks sometimes but it sure is fun.[:D]

    And won't tell you why.

And surprises you with over $40G in credit card debt.

In the last two years I've had three close friends have there wives walk out because the credit cards were maxed out and they couldn't get another one. Sounds crazy, but when the money was gone so were they. In all three cases the women sued for child support and half of the remaining assets. So my buddies had to sell their homes to pay the debts and split the remaining money with the exited wife. Now they have to give a large portion of their income to the ex-wives for child support knowing that the kids are lucky to see a dime of it. They each have moved in with other men,but will not marry again until the kids are of age and no longer eligible for support payments. One friend I had to lock his gun up. I was pretty sure he was going to do something stupid to the ex. He thanked me later. I don't know where these "new women" are coming from, but they are growing in numbers. I'm sorry for what you are going through. I hope for the best for you.

    Amen to bigdaddyjr:
My first did me the same as Nunn's.
Came back from first tour, she had a boyfriend, the house, credit cards, everthing maxed out. Not a thing you can do, but ride it out & try again.
I'm on #3, now for 25 yrs, good ones are hard to find.
It takes the wife a full 8 hrs. to clean the house, I can do it all except the clothes, in about 2hrs. tops.
I can wash all the towels, bedding, other crap in about 3hrs.
Now the shirts, pants, mama's skirts and dress's can go to the cleaners landry.

I waited until I was in my early thirties to get married. In my case it was the smart thing to do. I was way too wild in my twenties to have made a good husband or a decent father. My wife was with me for five or six years before we got married so she knows what an * I can be. I have yet to revert to my former wicked ways. Maybe I do on occasion. We've been together almost twenty years now. I'm sure we'll be together 'til one of us dies and then the other will follow shortly from boredom.I wonder if she knows I miss her. Maybe I'll buy her a new gun when she gets back. Is that pink thing still for sale?

My best friends wife left him a few years ago. She told him she wanted to Drink, Party and f****. He gave her $30,000 cash pluse Alomoney and child support. She was broke and deep in debt within 6 months.
Oh when she left he came home to find the house em[ty. She had planed it all out. Had people waiting for him to leave for work that day.
