All the talk about getting a gun for Christmas, Who gave one? I gave my stepson a 22 and my Step daughter a pistol. Never felt better. How about you?

I gave my hubby (Classic095) a Winchester Model 12...1912 on the barrel...We had seen it in Sept and was offeredd it for a very good price...Classic turned it down, but I phoned Jake and told him I wanted to purchase it, and I did...

The look on his face when he opened it ohhhhhhh wow is all I can say...he loves it...and believe it or not, I have yet to shoot it...*LOL I might not be able too...thats okay, I have the 1911

I have in the past given my 2 sons,4 new guns each at Christmas.Plus at least 1 new B.B. Gun.My 3 daughters never became interested at all with shooting or hunting. Those were the "Good Ole Days" when they were all still at home.Wish I could turn the clock back.

    I am confused at times.

I gave my 13 year old a Custom Mauser 98 with a Shilen barrel & monte carlo stock for his birthday (Nikon monarch 3.5x10-50 scope).

Now for christmas I am having the gun reworked and having a running whitetail engraved on the stock.

Boy is excited to see it, almost as much as I am.[:D]

My wife and I gave our son a Rem. 1100 28 ga. He lit up when he opened it, and we also put an envelope on the tree with a pheasant hunt on a preserve close to our home for the 26th of Dec.
On the hunt, he squarely hit the first bird flushed at about 20 yards.
All told, we bagged 6 pheasant and 7 chukkar that day.
