after reading the august issue of american rifleman, i ordered these new bullets:
swift 6mm/90 grain scirocco.

loaded up 12 in 3 different configurations. the results were impressive. i have shot speer and nosler for many years. the new swift bullet will be the new long range ditchdog buster.
anyone that shoots the 6mm should give this one a try.[:p].....
....or am i the only 6mm. shooter on this board??[:(]

OGH, I might give them a toot in the 243AI and see what happens! Just tried a few 80gr Bergers a couple weeks ago and they had a lot of potential! GHD

I am a big fan of the scirrocco. I just can't seem to stray from the polycarbonate tipped bullets. They fly so much straighter, and have a higher BC than a similarly weighted, non-tipped bullet. The scirrocco with it's bonded core design,..should give you another 100yds easy in that caliber (fot whitetail). Now if they will make a 6mm Nosler accu-bond..........[8D]

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    Just some more FYI,

Those interested in shooting the 6mm for slightly bigger game may want to take a look at the newer Barnes Triple-Shock X-Bullets. The 7mm and 30 cal. are getting great reviews and some of the pictures of the recovered bullets look like the advertising. I'm not sure if the 6's are finished yet as I haven't talked to Connie in a couple of weeks. There is only one weight so far, 95 grains with a .395 BC.

    Best.

ohioghog: No your not the only one who has been a true fallower of this fine cartridge.[:p]

I might give them a try if, they are as good as you say they are.[:D]

What is the price on these jewels?[:0]Cant be shooting to many if the price is to high.

Sierra 70gr. Blitzking is a good number in 6mm too.

Have you given them a try yet?[:p]

    You might like them too!!!!!!!!

i have not come up with the "final" load for this new bullet yet.. the three combinations i tried so for were under 1/2 at 100. i know i can get better than that...trial and error.

    justc: i agree.

bolt: i paid 18.00 for the box . the price will come down eventually.the 70 gr. blitz was dissapointing in my rifle. the bullet is not long enough. i set them way out.
