thought i would pass along some info since i never sleep.
read an article where the sa xd pistol was being rated along with the glock pistols. the end result was "even". the sa needs to be time tested b4 actually beating out the ever popular glock.
i have the sa xd-9 pistol in o.d green/factory ported slide(10 ports) and barrel. for anyone interested, here are some specs on the pistol.
*nice blowmold case with cleaning kit.
*2 10 rd. stainless easy drop mags.
*factory test target included with expended shell casing.
*pistol has integrated rail for light/laser mount.
*sights are metal(not plastic like the glocks), and adj.windage.
*backstrap safety(like the 1911)/trigger similar to glock.
*nice grip angle and thumb indent(nice feature).
*full lengh guide rod.
very reliable/eats any type of ammo. recoil is that of a .22 mag pistol.the wife loves to shoot this one!
there are some people that modify berreta hi-cap mags to fit this gun. i would not reccommend it. if done incorrectly, your extractor is history.
