twodays ago i bought a propane burner for a drying bin (only a mear &1600.00 from an outfit 170 miles from here....thats no problem, they would put it on a truck that afternoon be here in the morning...well the truck driver tries to deliver to a bussiness in town they didnt want to sign for it for what ever reason the the guy who wouldnt sign for it told the driver right where i live...the truck driver/shipping co told him and me they could'nt find my place by my address....hell anybody else can find my place and deliver things with only my addy so the knot head heads back with my heating unit....so i call the shipping place and talk to thehead guy asked him what the deal....well he tells me they dont make rural deliveries and which not a minute later he tells me about delivering something to the mint farm near here the lies went on on and on me being a pretty laid back guy was pissed by now finally told the guy he better have the heating unit back to place of business where i bought or else and that if they try to charge me any shipping i was going to put a size 11 in his rear...anyways i had to make a 340 mile round trip to pick up an item that yesterday morning was within 15 miles of my place....i swear that lying and being lazy is becoming a national pastime these days [:(!] and that brings me to my semi the guy who i bought it from sold it to me with the deal that he would get me two fuel tanks that are not cracked like to one that are on it now...been 8 months and still no tanks he has told me more lies that bill clinton could even dream up....like he cant find any, they are an odd size on and on.....when i was in Sioux Falls couple weeks ago stopped at a truck place to ask about tanks....the guy had four of them laying on the floor and told me they are the most popular size that Peterbilt uses......i know why the guy wont get them now, they are 575.00 each......the guy wont return my calls and have since found out that every other word out of his mouth is a lie....i have been very very cival with the guy but i am just about to flip out on him very very soon!

I dont what to say about the dryer, But I do remember something about a former owner operator saying something about not buying the truck.[;)][:D]
Can the tanks be welded? I used to cut mine in half and put a bulk head in the middle. This way I did not have to mount another tank on behind the cab for the wet kit. Never had one leak.
I hope things get better. I just went 10 rounds with a Lawyer over a deck. Her husband authorized over 300 extra sq ft and she did not want to pay extra. But with Greekers help Toolbabe and I kicked butt.

Cowdoc, Tools is probably right about welding them, I have owned several trucks and had three tanks welded. One was on my 379 Ext. hood, had a screw fall between the tank and mounting strap and rubbed a hole, welder fixed it right up for me. As far as your other problem, that is why I do not run my trucks any more. The eneral public as a whole now days are a pain in the * to have to deal with. Better luck to you and prayers for your wife. MB

How they do lie!! Mec. at the shop I use to go to removed the carb. from my car to over haul it. Took it home, and then left the state with it. Not one to be found for 500 miles, and still looking.[:(!]

The storys of the 'driver' never seems to stop. They'll either try to over price you, charge you for shipping, or just act like they're 'lost' so they don't have to drive 350 miles that day.

Doc, you can always form a resistance and stand outside they're building with signs.[:D]

Trapp, kinda wondering if Salvage33 made it back home allright, must have.
not feeding them enough i guess numbers seem to down quite abit or they are still scattered all over yet, everybody i have talked to around here is having a hard time getting limits this year, but about all the fall crops are still standing yet today so there are alot of places for them to hide and not be found very easy.

Cowdoc, John says he got home safe, sound and tired from the drive! Looks like you guys had a good hunt, wish I could have joined you guys! I saw the problem of the low bird count in the pic, no pointers![;)][:D] Good luck getting your crops in.
