Ruger 22/45

Is it me? Am I the only one?

This has got to be the hardest pistol to put back together ever made! I love the little gun, but jeez...

I've had it for six or seven years and I still have to go back to the manual for reassembly.

I guess the mind is the first thing to go...

There is a site that tells ya the secret, its someting to do with the angle of the dangle, or how ya hold the pistol up to get that part that hangs down to fit just right. if ya need that site, BR will give it to ya. I know I had to go there to get the trick..

Yeah, it is the angle of the dangle. It's sort of like several angles of the dangle. I just can't seem to remember it between cleanings!

    Maybe some vitamins...

Hey Mateo- One little addition to those great instructions[Been using the Ram-line guide since it first came out.]Before dissassembly, use the absolutely smallest needle file you can find and slightly score a witness mark on the receiver to show its location relative to the frame in its assembled position.. This lets you tap it back into position exactly. If you feel this dinky mark will totally ruin the value of the gun[I don't !!![8D]], use a piece of tape and just be carefull that the solvent or oil doesn't remove it
